Children’s Ministries helps families guide their children in a daily walk with Jesus, through song, devotionals, craft and hands-on activities, and supports the children’s programs run in local churches and at Union events.
Children’s Ministries is one of the three ministries of YCC Ministries: Youth, Camponotus and Children’s Ministries. Brigita Szabo directs Children’s Ministries, and YCC Ministries Director Hannah Lausevic represents all three ministries on the Union Council.
Programs
Children’s programs run alongside Union events such as the end-of-year camp at Elim Heights. During 2020 the ministry held the online Children’s End of Year Event, My Daily Walk with Jesus, with activity kits posted to families, short online worships and a children’s song in the virtual concert.
For children aged 5 to 12 there is also Camponotus Kids, with one-day events and camps where children learn survival skills, crafts and domestic skills.
