What fills your life?
Work, uni, school, family, friends, church. There is always something competing for our time and attention. So when you finally get a moment, what do you do with it?
Occupied is a ten-day youth camp exploring how we spend our time, what fills our minds and lives, and what is occupying first place in our hearts. Through worship, Bible study, discussions, practical workshops, recreation and time spent together, we will consider what really matters, and what it looks like to live a life fully occupied by God.
What fills the ten days
- Worship and Bible study. Daily worship and study with guest speaker Daniel Balbach, plus Q&A sessions.
- Workshops and discussion. Practical workshops and honest conversations about what really matters.
- Music, media and recreation. An orchestra, choir and children’s music program, working together on one special project across the camp, with a media program running alongside for anyone who wants to develop practical media skills behind the scenes.
- Two excursion days. Sydney Day on Monday 28 December (an Amazing Race-style challenge through the city, then a ferry to Cockatoo Island for lunch and the Convict Prison Tour) and Blue Mountains Day on Thursday 31 December (the Three Sisters lookout, a walk down to the waterfall, then Scenic World). Excursions are booked separately.
