From 17 August to 20 August 2018, some of the brothers and sisters from Melbourne attended this year’s Snow Camp in Bright, Victoria. From Friday afternoon everyone arrived and settled in nicely. We opened Sabbath together with worship. The weather for Sabbath morning was wet, but our Sabbath lesson kept us warm. For the Divine Service, we had to discuss the theme of the camp, S.N.O.W- Salvation to all the Nations Of the World. Everyone took part, and we had some great feed back from the youth. The discussion was followed by a beautiful, delicious lunch.
We had Young People’s meeting inside due to the rain. It involved singing, memory verses and a Bible quiz with the young versus the old. We closed Sabbath together, and it was such an amazing Sabbath. Saturday night we had youth games and dinner. Sunday we were off to the snow; some went to Mount Buffalo and others went to Falls Creek Mountain.
Monday involved clean up and getting on the road back home. Thank you, Lord, for your everlasting protection!
