New Zealand Field Conference News

Between the dates, May 31 and June 3, we held our Field Spiritual Convention and Field Delegation Session. The Conference Theme was "In the Spirit and Power". The venue was Camp Morley, set amongst farmland on the southern shores of the Manukau Harbour. It was very picturesque.

The weather remained fine for most of the weekend with little rain. The middle of winter is never very warm, but our hearts were warmed as approximately 35 members and visitors gathered to receive a real Spiritual repast.

Our study topics included, "In the Spirit and Power", "Our Passport and Fitness for Heaven", "Revival and Reformation", and "Prepared for Translation".

We all felt blessed with the presence of both Brother Jaksic and Brother Parker from Australia. Their support, brotherly kindness and contributions were well received by all.

The food was excellent. I overheard one comment, "…some of the nicest food I have eaten at camp meetings."

Visitors to our camp praised God for the straight message and the warm hospitality shown.

God willing, we plan to use the same venue for our Convention next year. It was to be held at the same time, but we are hoping to reschedule it to the Labour Long Weekend in October. Then, the weather should be warmer.
