Today we are saying goodbye to two long-time members of our staff, who have officially retired.
Assistant editor Lidia Voncina has been a pillar of our office staff since 1999, and it will be sad to see her go. Over the years Lidia has assisted the secretary, managed our PTCC Bible Course, fulfilled too many different tasks to mention, and been the happy voice on the other end of the phone line for anyone ringing in to the office.
Joe Voncina has also been a key part of our organisation, having served as the secretary and treasurer of the AUC since 2003. Joe has been the behind-the-scenes support for our pastoral staff, helping to keep things running so they can do their jobs.
Lidia and Joe have been involved behind the scenes in so many of the stories you have read about here over the years.
To both Joe and Lidia we would like to say a special “thank you.” We wish you all the best and God’s blessings in your retirement, and of course we want you to know you’re always welcome in the office. We’re sure you’ll find ways to continue to assist in the Lord’s work whenever you can!
